8X10" monoprint on copy paper

This was the best of the faces that I attempted in my monoprinting session. I've forgotten how difficult it is to get just the right amount of ink on the board in order to get a good print. There were more features to this particular face, but the printing process did not pick them up. I'm still happy with the result.

8X10" colored pencil

I am very happy with this particular piece. The thing that attracted me to this face was it's very peaceful, meditative quality. At first, I had some difficulty with the shading and skin tones, but patience paid off in the end.
